Happy Holidays!
It’s hard to believe this Christmas holiday is almost here! The year has flown by! I am grateful for so many wonderful experiences this year including our travels to far away places like South Africa and Abu Dhabi UAE. But the cherished moments are the times spent with my husband, children, grandson, friends and customers. These are the real highlights of my year. A big thank you to all!!!❣️
My studio is “sprouting” colorful art glass wavy garden stakes!!! This season’s version of the stakes incorporates more intricate embellishments with beads, dichroic nuggets and color variations. Even though they are relatively small pieces of art glass they really pack a punch of color and sparkle to a potted plant or garden area. I like to display the stakes as a set of three varying heights. Plant some of these in your pots or garden! There is still time to brighten someone’s Christmas with colorful garden stakes. Shop here!
The later part of 2023 sent me in a different art direction. I started combining acrylic painting with art glass for a totally new concept. The painted acrylic/glass series now includes painted round canvases with embellished glass overlays. The glass panel is connected with the painted canvas using ¾” stainless standoffs to create more depth and shadow in just the right light. Here is one of my favorite pieces entitled Agave Gone Wild.
