“Garden Burst” is a compelling glasswork that embodies the beauty of a blossoming garden. Mary Sherwood was inspired by the lively hues outside of her studio in the Sonoran region of Arizona, which is sprawling with Saguaro Cactuses and desert wildflowers. 

With a keen artistic vision to immerse the viewer in a lush visual experience – she uses pops of color like crimson, yellow, emerald, and small diamond details that refract light like morning dew.

The detailed layering builds upon itself in a stunning way, with each element of the glass thoughtfully arranged. Whether displayed in a sunlit window or illuminated by soft lighting in a gallery, it is a visual delight that will brighten up any space.
